Oma Gourd Handcrafted Tacos ("we," "us," "our") runs the website at omagourd.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What We Collect

Catering and contact requests. When you submit our catering form, we collect what you type in: your name, email, phone number, event details, and anything you add in the notes. We use it to respond to your request and plan your event, and for nothing else. Form submissions are processed by Scroll Theory Forms, a form service that delivers your message to us.

Site analytics. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see how people actually use this site, so we know which pages earn their keep and where the layout gets in the way. Google Analytics tells us things like which pages you opened, roughly what city you are in, what device and browser you used, and how you found us. Microsoft Clarity records how you move through a page: scrolling, clicks, and mouse movement. Clarity masks what you type into form fields, so your catering details do not show up in a recording. Both tools send that data to Google and Microsoft, who handle it under their own privacy policies (Google, Microsoft).

Basic server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard technical logs (like IP addresses and requested pages) to serve the site securely and defend against abuse.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity each set cookies so they can tell a repeat visit from a new one. That is all we use them for. We do not run advertising networks or retargeting pixels on this site. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings and the site still works fine without them.

What We Do Not Do

This site does not run ad trackers or retargeting pixels, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Ordering and Gift Cards

Online ordering and gift cards are handled on Square's platform. When you follow those links, Square's own privacy policy applies to the information you provide there, including payment details. We never see or store your payment information.

Your Choices

Want us to delete a catering inquiry or anything else you have sent us? Email omagourd@gmail.com and we will take care of it.

Want out of the analytics? Blocking cookies in your browser stops both tools. Google also publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site, and Microsoft has an opt-out page for Clarity.

Changes

If we add tools that change how data is handled, we will update this page and the effective date above.
